H.O.P.E Hotline was truly born out of necessity.
H.O.P.E. Hotline is family-owned and operated right here in New Bern, NC. We treat every customer like they are a part of our family. When other agencies turn people away, we try to take them in and assist in every way possible.
In 2002, we were blessed with a bouncing baby boy after 2 months of complications. The complications had cost me my job. Just as we thought we were getting back on our feet, my oldest son was diagnosed with cancer and had to be flown to a bigger city. The financial hardships we endured were more than we were able to handle. At one point, we had no power, no phone and my husband barely had gas money to make weekend trips up to the hospital. Due to what we made in income the previous year, we were not eligible for any assistance.
Since then, we have met many people in that very same situation. H.O.P.E. Hotline helps those people that fall between the cracks.
